If Richard Hooke is right that Oswald was really up on the 6th floor collaborating with Malcolm Wallace, getting the rifle ready for him, telling him that it was ready, that it was good to go, I think I know why.

It was the pinch. Yeah, that's right; the New Orleans pinching. That was the last straw for Oswald. He was just down there doing his job; playing along; performing his role. But, when they pinched him, that was it. There is only so much a man can take before the beast within cries out,

"No more!"

Oswald was broke, and they broke him. And all the while as he was preparing that gun for Malcolm Wallace, he thought to himself,

"Pinch this, sons of bitches!"

And as he stood in that doorway watching the slaughter, he shed a silent tear for JFK, but all the while, the hero within him looked ahead to a brighter future for all which would be - first, last, and always - pinch-free!

Alas, we can only dream of what could have been- had Oswald spent that time alerting police on the street of the bloodbath that was to come.

But, life is a chain reaction of cause and effect; cause and effect. So, blame not Lee Harvey Oswald; blame the demons in the New Orleans PD who resorted to: the pinch. There was no call for it. There was no need for it. And there was no excuse for it.

It is up to God to forgive them- if He so chooses.  But, it is up to us to muster the collective strength to banish forever from this Earthly realm, the torture, the torment, and the tribulation of: the pinch.
